Looking great John.

I'm a round knob guy myself, but each to their own!

Had a good day with my son, putting the car together carpets, rollbars, hood, trim to radiator top. Went to the machine shop and made new handbrake lever cover from bar of ally.

Got to say the Chimaera does look better without a roof ,more of a speedster.. The rear roof section does spoil the lines .

Pity someone can`t design a MG Roadster style roof .

Well, that's been a thoroughly engrossing hour or so spent reading the entirety of this thread; can't believe I'd not looked in it before now. Excellent stuff and great to see one coming back to life with a vengeance.

Anyone know the inlet/outlet bore diameters on the SC Power intercoolers?

I agree, I want one of the hard top conversions but can't justify the cost yet

I mean a full rag top ,then then it would lay completly flat and sit behind the seat .

2.25" I believe (57mm). I designed my own IC with this size and and it will flow 400bhp nicely if done right.

just spent a fantastic two days working with my son on the final run in on the car, had trimmers right up to the last on friday night but all in all went well, we then could get the roll bars fitted then the hood rear section hood sticks and finally the targa, then built up the seats and fitted harnesses fitted and adjusted, and the whole car glazed and polished wheels fitted engine run up again to full temperature so far all good, took plenty of pictures plus some video which will be on youtube, unfortunately the weather was constant snow so no driving outside but managed two or three feet in the workshop.work interrupts next week a bit but mot soonest.

Fantastic John. I've been looking forward to seeing a finished shot. Can't wait to see it on the road and some dyno results.

Before we got the wheels on we ran up the engine for 45 minutes for final checks. I took the opportunity to do a 1 minute video -
