Standard shocks are very good in my view never got on with adjustable you just end up continually playing, tvr produced a good handling car so as the shocks are nearly new just painting everything to the new colour scheme orange and black i do like something to look good as well as perform good terrible english.

Hi John, if you don't want to shell out for new shocks (understandably), bilstein do a pretty good value referb service. I get mine done regularly as it makes a huge difference to the handling. My original shocks were 10 years old & were appalling before being rebuilt (only done 45k too).
good day today got the rest of the painted components unmasked ready for assembly and made a good start on the motor rebuild, got the cam in then the crank, torqued up all spins lovely then assembled the piston conrod rings and installed them with there new shells so beginning to look like an engine again.

Fantastic stuff John, it must be your Broadland blood because obviously don't like sitting about just like me , but I think it will be a while before I gain anything like your engineering knowledge . You must have dismantled everything you touched as a child .
I'd love to come and see the car when its done also, I'm not far from you.
