Ive emptied most of the junk in mine. I am sure the landlady doesnt mind camping gear, tools, drag tyres, etc etc in her gaff till next week. I can actually manage to put the roof in the boot for the 100 mile drive to my sisters then another 65 to Prescott tomorrow. Better get some protection on the monkeys arse first tho

I had a great run down from the North East to Cheltenham this afternoon in readiness for Prescott. I very nearly ran out of fuel though!

I'll have done the best part of 1,500 miles in two weeks in mine by the end of next week... ...all paid for by work. I do like my life. Phil

The trip yesterday to work was great, hood off, open roads, no Lorries, few cars. Wish it would be the same on the way home on a Friday!
Last Sunday completed 500+ miles in France.
Hood off at GU8 and remained off until Rennes. The trip down was very hot, forgot that if the roof is off you will end up with a sunburnt head. Trip back was not so good, rain and cops. Near Le Havre got passed by a Bruxelles Aston who must have though the mandatory minimum in the wet was 110!

Feck it, I've burnt my arms, my face, my nose and the top of my head. Lunch in Southwold, mid afternoon tea at Snape Maltings, quick jaunt into Aldeburgh then back up to Norwich. Bought a hat at Snape but it was too late, damage is done. Saw a Chim leaving Norwich on the A146 late morning then a T350 late afternoon also on the A146 few miles outside of Norwich.... I look like a bloody strawberry

Down to Wales on mon and touring about locally ( 2 adults & 3 dogs - it can be done!) Back up to Lancs yesterday and left the roof down here in Criccieth and then back down today. Absolutely glorious. The fact that I had to run round for an alternator last Sat & change it (noisy rear bearing) then bandage the exhaust yesterday (punctured flexi bit) is completely irrelevant. Truly, the weather really does make it all worth while.
