...... I'm happy. After 13 years of happy 4.0 Chimaera ownership I finally got to pop it on some rollers and see how much....or how little power it actually had..... and the answer...... Ok, it's not going to we worrying the big boys with there 340+ cars but considering this car is 19 years old and other than an engine rebuild to 'standard' spec in 2004 and a decatted exhaust it's mechanically standard. Considering TVR quoted 235 BHP for this car when new and those figures were on the optimistic side being only 8 BHP down is bloody good. Only issue was an over fueling on full load that I'm not going to worry about too much as how much time do you actually spend with your foot right in the carpet, might treat it to a new set of mats and a smooth bore air inlet pipe now.

I'd say that was pretty good, I'd be pleased to get near that with mine for sure.
Really though, unless you like to wave your todger, the figures don't mean much if your happy with the performance. I have the offer of a free rolling road session for either of mine, but still not really felt the need to take it up.

Here's my recent effort 248 horses at the flywheel, not bad for a standard 4litre N plate ;-) "O have i broke your machine mate?"
