This weekend I finally - FINALLY got the chim on the road.
Needed new alternator and a recon one with 12 months warranty was only £40 which I thought was pretty good.

Driving around in the sun for the first time all year has made all the blood, sweat and tears worth it. There are still loads of things need doing and stuff did go wrong, but.... it didn't make it any less fun.

I may have ruined a brides day though, ooops There was a load of people outside a church so I gave it some throttle in second and everyone turned around, just as the bride was coming out the church, haha, I don't think she would have been pleased.
I also went to visit a friend who lives opposite a park, which happened to have a brassband on, with people watching in the band stand. Until we pulled up and everyone turned around

Fuel economy is surprisingly good, well it would be if I didn't take massive detours everywhere just to drive around. A 10 mile each way joureny turned into a 50 mile trip.
Can't wait for next week now and more sun, more driving, more smiling
