I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say, this is not an advert but an endorsement of a good trim job. Put is this way, I am sure there are lots of excellent TVR trimmers out there, and for convenience I went to Milton Keynes and used a trimmer called Dave (google him).

Oddly I think I actually prefer the rectangular window over the angled one ... just personal preference I'm sure tho!

he did some repairs on the bolsters of my elise seats. spot on and not expensive

did he stick to the timescale he gave you for the work?

Looks really nice Russ'. Who did your paintwork .... TVR Central in Stourbridge by any chance?
By the way know exactly where the shots of your car were taken ... I'm just up the road along the Fosse towards Ettington

Ok, so it was 'Dave the Trimmer' who did the roof.

Vmax64, the paintwork was actually done by Dave's neighbours (Salford Service Centre), whilst the roof was off it was touched up, then the new roof was put on. I was in Germany for a week so left it with them.

The Fosse Way (and the many great roads off it) are where I collect most of my stone chips! ;-)

Good to know about the hood - mine looks good now but am sure at some point will need doing. Like the sound of S&Design in Blackpool but too far for us. Asked about the paintwork as had my front end done and the headlamps converted to Mk3 by Adrian at Central TVR in Stourbridge ...they did a fantastic job.
Like the green hood and the rear screen by the way!

Looks very good. I'd like to do the mirrors, although not too handy with that sort of thing :-(

Was the engine dress up kit straightforward? I'd like to do that too :-)

Dress up kit was just getting the rockers painted red , chromed a few little parts , a bit of overbraid and 5 years of polishing my fingers away every weekend lol , I'll be honest, that whole engine bay has took flippin ages lol it was mainly just takin things off sanding painting and or polishing and then putting them back with new seals bolts etc , nothing escaped lol oh and don't park in the rain for too long or the bling shine needs fettling again ;0) The missus loved it .......
