AAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH

Absoulutely raging!

So i make an unplanned 331 mile trip home to do my clutch this weekend.
Ordered ab expensive 6 paddle AP kit from Techcraft and they guarenteed delivery by Friday.
I got home about 5pm to find a calling card from DPD.
Went online and paid another £12 to have it delivered today before 1pm.
It doesnt arrive so i check the tracking and its still at the depot in Preston.
Phoned the depot.... ' sorry mate the warehouse is in lockdown till monday now, we will give you a refund'

Fat lot of good that is.

Optimistic to say the least. Maybe capable of 500 lb on the move.
AP rate the paddle set up ive ordered as 522 minimum, so could take more.

I've got a Helix clutch just like that and I'm sure they said 350-400 ft/lbs when I phoned their technical department.

They directed me to Rob at V8 Developments, there was a small delay in delivery due to Helix not V8D, Rob offered me my money back (very fair), but I stuck with it for another week or so and it arrived.

It's now done 6,000 miles & been perfect, very happy with it.

It's not too heavy & it just grips under all circumstances making my rear tyres my clutch slip system these days.

Truth is I doubt I'm really testing it in my baby 4.0 litre.

Yet evil

Lets not be unfair with Helix, I suspect the one above saw some adventurous launches & quite a bit more that 350-400 ft/lbs?

Well it was sold to me as 500lbft clutch from by you...you probably didnt expect me to produce 500lbft but I did. I even paid more than the normal helix for this one off super thing. It slipped at 490lbft...I dont recommend this clutch its cack.

I then purchased an AP paddle which was much better.

Is it true we produce 53% of the oil needed in the UK or does it not see our shores !

Hey i have never sold you a clutch? if i had there is not a chance i would have sold you one saying it was rated at 500ftlb, there is not a 9.5" organic plate on this planet that would hold that power, you would need a paddle, also why would i not think you would make 500ftlb, i have seen 700+ sorry bud but i am confused????

Sorry my mistake then I thought you were v8 developments thats who I bought the clutch from got my reciept here. Explained what I wanted it for totally in every detail..and this was recommended to me for 500lbft so I thought it would have some leeway above this.

Annoying was the fact I paid more than normal because they asked Helix to put some stronger springs in than that are normally supplied.

What company are you then v8 racing...maybe I should of seen you for my clutch smile

I cant figure out when this happened. Kind of suspect on the latest gearbox removal.
Apart from the slip, all else seemed fine
