Hi Neal, well what do i say!!, i used to work for v8 developments as the grease monkey, cutting a long story short for several reasons i am now a partner since last christmas, one thing i cant handle in my work life is bad publicity, if people think i am a tt thats fine i can handle that, if people think i am the guy they want to be mates with thats fine too, but i hate bad publicity, one reason for becoming a partner is so i have more control over what is happening and what is going out the doors, there are several helix clutches we do rated from 350=500 ftlb, the clutch in this thread is only rated at 350, the fact it held out to 490 is amazes me, i truelly dont know what has happened and why you where given that clutch, but i am happy to componsate you, can you pm the invoice please and any corespondence with v8 and i will sort things out for you.

Regards Rob

Seems quite a few broken promises then....got a few pm's saying you got no chance of getting anything back from them...and looks like there right.

If your gonna try and look like a good guy on PH at least back it up! Just a front IMHO

You were quick enough to take my money and from my PM's plenty of others...

Rant over lol

Wow this is not exactly the type of publicity i like!, sorry neal yes you did send me the invoice which i asked for, but that is the only email i recieved from you?, i looked back through our invoices as i couldnt find a date on yours, it was covered by the pdg slip, it was over 3 years ago you bought the clutch!, as fot the clutch itself, i really dont know what happened? i cant beleive anyone there would have sold that if you requested you wanted to run 500ftib, i am happy to paypal you £100 as a good will gesture if you are happy with that? even though i had no part or profit in the original deal.
Sorry but i havent had time to come on ph much lately, so i didnt see your other remarks, with homelife and young children, and hectic at work i dont get much time now in the evenings, i will try and come on here more, i would also like to see your emails you have recieved?

Daz why put a comment like that up? i offered to have a look at your car foc for you to sort the cold start out, mainly because you are a past customer, and to be honest it will take about 5 minutes in the mornings, you sent me a mail saying what you had done, (copy and paste from ph) to which i replied to? at no time did you ask to bring the car in, your post above looks very much like you are waiting for us?

At this point i would like to say we do try to please all our customers, even more so with after sales, if anybody has got any issues or comments about myself or v8developments then please contact me. v8rob@hotmail.co.uk 07951208383.

Regards Rob

Well as a closure to the above just wanted to give credit where credit is due.

Rob has sent me some compensation for my clutch that was purchased from V8D, (not from Rob may I add..this was some 3 years ago which makes it even more impressive)...

He has also exchanged a few emails with me and it seems Rob is very passionate to keep his customers happy. I don't think there would be many other people that go this far!

Big thumbs up from me thanks Rob of V8Developments thumbup
