I'm looking at three cars at TrackVRoad in Clitheroe and am finding Richard very helpful there.

I believe that I have 2nd Dibs on the Yellow Chim!

Does anyone know any of the cars please or care to comment on any of them?

There's the yellow one @ £10,995

and a greatly refurbished blue one & £15,995

- or even the grey pre-cat Griff @ £12,995?

If I was clever enough to post a link to the adverts, I would do - sorry

I'd prefer to buy with a warranty and where I know that i can get them serviced etc., so any thoughts would be appreciated.

- amended the advert to remove another car elsewhere.

Cheers!

Don't know the cars but you can buy with confidence from the guys at TrackvRoad so any of teh cars for sale there will be good buys.

If I was in the market I'd be on the one with all the work done, it's just ready to go.

I think I know the blue one and the grey one, both very nice cars in different ways. However, if the blue one is the one I think it is then it has had a small fortune spent on it, new interior, respray, detailed engine bay, it's one heck of a car. Give Richard a call and have a chat with him about the cars he wil give you an honest answer.

I've spoken to him about both the yellow one and the blue one, which is the car you describe.

It has had a fortune spent on it.

Both cars seem very good.

The yellow one is his to sell and the blue one is on behalf of a client.

Just struggling to decide between the two Chims and the Griffith.

The prices seem very fair too.

Don't know the cars, but have nothing but good things to say about Richard and track v road having bought my red chim from them earlier this year. Finally going to get to drive it again next weekend after over three months of it sitting on my parents drive. It's been killing me! Haha!

We've known TrackVroad since last year when we bought our Kate, since then she has been fantastic and so have they in support. They're very straight, if they say a car is this or that then it will be. We met the owner of the blue car, he's a nice bloke called Tony. Shame, he really did spend a fortune on his pride and joy but sustained a bad back injury at work and struggled to get in it after that. I'm sure the other cars are good too, just can't vouch for knowing them.

Hi David,

Great advice so far - Track V Road are dependable, and any one of the three would be a safe bet.

I think I can chip in on two fronts. The grey Griff is my old one, recently part exed for a T350, and I would still have it if I could afford both! I spent a lot on it (never thought I'd be selling) so it's had all the bits in the advert and probably a few more. It sounds magnificent.

Secondly, there's the Griff v Chimaera discussion. That's personal taste really, although objectively you get more with a Chim. The blue one has had the works done, and you should see it in the flesh to appreciate the interior. The yellow one also looks even better in real life (I was up there this afternoon) - the colour is a kinda Clio V6 Liquid Yellow.

I'd buy the Griff though, and a turbo in spring next year.

Thanks for that.

I prefer the front of the Griff and the rear of the Chim!

Going up to have another look and finalise a deal this week, hopefully, maybe even tomorrow - staff permitting.

Seconded on everything said about the blue Chim but yellow the The colour to have... cloud9 The Chim is a more practical tourer boot wise. Drive them all & pick the best. Trackv have looked after my yellow Chim for the last 6 years...

I work at Surface & Design and I have a Chim,
I resprayed Tony's Chim and every time I talk to Richard at Track V Road I tell him I will buy it when I come in to some money. Not happened yet though.
I cannot understand why it is still for sale, it is so well sorted and lots of car for the money.
Top bloke Tony and top company Track V Road.

I'd prefer to buy with a warranty and where I know that i can get them serviced etc., so any thoughts would be appreciated.

Will be great to see what you go for!! I think if they are going to be a keeper I'd be tempted by the blue chimaera simply because of the work that's been carried out!

Doesn't matter because all the comments are really helpful and I'm going to have a look shortly.

Just to confuse the issue, a rather nice T350 has suddenly appeared there too!

As a matter of interest which car do you prefer driving?

There's a rather nice one just appeared on their website.

Objectively I think the t350 is better. It has Nitrons, and it's just very capable. The Griff is always an occasion to drive though-where the t350 is a proper sports car, the Griff is more of a British muscle car. I mean that in a good way though!

This one was a bit tired when I got it,but new Bilsteins from Power,a new steering rack, new bushes plus a rear anti roll bar made a big difference. On a smooth road on a nice day,the burble is unbeatable.

That t350 though...if you mean the forest green one it is unmarked and amazing.

Richard did say your Griff was a bit LOUD!

I was hoping that the T350 wouldn't be so good.

Still trying to get there.
