Brought a new clutch and lightened and balanced flywheel (exchanged my old one) from JE Engineering which has been fitted by Calvin @ Wilton Morgan (Top Job).

Cant believe how light the clutch is now smile and the lighter flywheel is a big improvement.

Oh and while it was there Calvin sleeved the exhaust smilesmile The sound is awesome, even with the roof up and the rain coming down. Cant wait to get the roof down and hear the pops and bangs properly.

I can`t see how a lightened balanced flywheel would change the pedal feel !

I thought the pressure plate creates the tension on the pedal not the fly wheel.

Yes the clutch makes it light. The lightened flywheel didn't change the pedel feel I was just caught out by the way the revs would rise and fall much easier. Adds to the driving enjoyment that's for sure

Daz if you change out the old worn clutch for the same spec but new the pedal is always lighter as the pressure plate fingers are at the correct angle, as the clutch wears the fingers move out towards the release bearing thus creating a heavier pedal.
