We manufacture in the quality which wish the customer. I recommend the synthetic velor which Mercedes and BMW used too. This one what now show the pictures. this velor material does not hold dust or sand firmly, can easily suck.
And when somebody spill ketchup, cola, or whatever it is easy to clean not like wool where you see every spot and they do not get out more. The price for the complet kit produce from this excelent velor material incl. door carpeting incl. foot mats for only now as action price 540€/~430GBP (standard price 599€)incl. german vat. valid to 31.12.2012.

We don`t need to pay German vat ,we are in the UK.

Certainly we can....but we would need your old for this job because we have no template for your car to today. In
black is no standard for the boot about which material (specification) you are thinking for ?

Gregor

Sorry Daz, he's right and I am a UK accountant. He has to charge German VAT unless you are UK VAT registered and tell him your VAT number. Otherwise the Germans would have a 19% price advantage over UK traders.

my car is just back from dave the trimmer after hood and carpet replacement. (see my winter refurb thread - griff)

fantastic job, im really happy

the carpet quality was great, he had some options, but suggested i went for a particular carpet which would finish well, and had a high quality

he removed all the old stuff, and made the carpets to suit from the pattern the old ones. he wont supply a "set" for DIY, as he said there is too much variance in the tvr to do that properly.....

the cost was 550 all in, done in the 4 day timescale quoted. (he fitted a roof at the same time, also spot on).

whilst i like working on my car........trimming to this standard is not achievable by me, so not really an option.
Is that £550 for supply and fit of both hood and carpet?

What's confused him is that businesses within different countries in Europe don't charge each other VAT.

If we did, because VAT isn't centralised, to get input tax recovery each UK business importing from say six other EU countries would have to do a VAT claim to each country. This used to be in the language of the relevant country.....how's your Estonian these days?

Instead, all inter-country sales to other businesses are zero rated, the amounts get declared on VAT returns and intrastat returns, and the governments settle up with each other.

But private individuals do have to pay VAT, otherwise stuff we import would be cheaper than stuff bought here and it would be a tax dodge. To get the VAT charged, the trader supplying the goods charges the VAT.

Boring VAT lesson over.....
