This is the scheduled April BUMP for the MCC thread.
I am considering (subject to the Chairman's approval) of doing (when I have time) a round-up of those threads or posts from the previous month which have relevance or interest to the MCC or simply contain an element of worth-mentioning humour....
If anyone feels that a particular thread or post is worthy of mention in the hallowed halls of the MCC then please feel free to pm me.

Now this is interesting, as the applicant has previously stated that he was perfectly happy with his boggo 400... and indeed was a member of the UMCC.... (Damn you Goaty Bill) However, clearly this person has seen the light and has taken great steps to achieve the ultimate status of MCC membership... A worthy effort. Subject to the founders approval I would vote a big yes for QBee's membership. Notwithstanding this I suspect we would need the final stamp of the horse power council... The MCC is an elite group of suave and sophisticated TVR afficionados, a band of brothers if you will.. we do not tolerate mildly modified motors, smooth bore elbows, or mindless bragging. We are a collective of like minded performance oriented nutters who brook no excuses or weak pleading. To be accepted into the MCC brotherhood is an honour not bestowed on many, and you should be mindful of this when you post on this hallowed forum. The founder does not take fools gladly, and punishment is swift and incisive! Consider your membership a sacred thing, and always remember, those with unmodified cars are not true believers, and should be scorned (Goaty Bill take note!).

I have only just seen this, and I have just two things to say, firstly, I am not and have never been president, I am the lowly (self appointed) moderator of this highly esteemed club.
Secondly, I noticed that nobody rushed to support me when N7P45 voted that I be kicked off. Well that's fine thanks for all these years of dedicated service to the MCC.
If that's how it is then I resign. Yes, that's right! I am now resigned.

Somebody should decide if the MMCC is a completely new and independent club, or if it will simply be an elitist branch of the MCC
Such decisions are somewhat above the pay grade of a simple (self appointed) mod.....
Maybe we need to call a board meeting..... Someone should also let the horse power council know....

It is this arrangement that has prevented argument, conflict, and general anarchy since the clubs inception back in 2012....
On a separate note, I am thinking of volunteering myself to design (subject to approval) an MCC T shirt.... which if approved I would fork out the dosh myself to get a first batch made...
Reimbursement for said T shirt would be at cost, I don't need to make money from such a venture as I'm already fabulously wealthy
Opinions and T shirt design suggestions are very welcome

Lets get a few things straight here....
Firstly, this isn't 'my little club', it belongs to the members, of which there are quite a few... I only got it off the ground, I am also only the (self appointed) secretary, for me this was unpaid work, undertaken at a time when I was exceptionally busy both working and socially. OK, busy working then... Our esteemed chairman, as many of you will know, is his straight line holiness Lord Dangerous Derek, who can often be found blowing engines up at weekends or rebuilding them on week days.
Given the number of peeps who have (since the club was inaugurated, back in the mists of time) gone turbo, it seems to me we need to redefine our earlier understanding of what modified and acceptable (with proof) power outputs might be in today's world of forced induction madness... Or, perhaps, have two classes of membership... NA membership and FI membership.... Usernames could be modified to reflect this, for example I could become ChilliWhizz NA... And my good friend N7GTX could become N7GTX FI...
I'll have to leave it here as beastie and I are off to a TVRCC regional meet somewhere in the depths of South Norfolkshire... at a Pub...
So, lets have some suggestions chaps... and thanks to N7GTX FI for giving us this opportunity to reinvent the MCC
