Anyway, I vote that Chilliman is kicked off and Mac is installed as the President of the club with his latest modded efforts.

Oh and can anyone lend me a tenner for some petrol?
You rotten barsteward N7GTXLRP45

I have only just seen this, and I have just two things to say, firstly, I am not and have never been president, I am the lowly (self appointed) moderator of this highly esteemed club.

Secondly, I noticed that nobody rushed to support me when N7P45 voted that I be kicked off. Well that's fine thanks for all these years of dedicated service to the MCC.

If that's how it is then I resign. Yes, that's right! I am now resigned.

Sincerely yours,
ChilliWhizz (& Beastie)

The MCC will be all at sea without you Chilli.....

But as that's where you are most times a meeting is called, that should actually work out more convenient for you....?whistle

Please don't leave us Chilli. Was a slight misunderstanding. I hope you will take up your roll and maybe we could talk about a raise. You deserve one mate.

You could be an honorary member, Ian.
390 normally aspirated nags, John Eales manifold, more throttle bodies than you know what to do with, and engine woes to bend the wallet.........definitely all the qualifying requirements, bar a decent boot.

Anyway, there isn't an MWC to join.
Most Griff owners are too worried about keeping their pride and joy standard.
Just a shame a 300 bhp Chimaera kept overtaking you at Castle Combe getmecoat

(whoops, didn't mean to mention that)

Actually you both were really flying.

In fact I do recall having to grasp the steering wheel with both hands to ensure you didn't get away wink

Ah ha, the Kraken wakes! About bloody time too. This club had been dormant for weeks.
For those who don't know about the Kraken, aka Chilliman, this is the definition from Wiki:

"The Kraken is a legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland."

Bit of a scary f#cker, isn't he?

I've been trying to get in to the MCC since it started and 308BHP would have got in back then rage

Problem is, with the current power level she scares me and is above my skill level anyway frown

While picking up my car from Powers today, Dom was telling me of a supercharged 4.5 chucking out 450 he has there and says there's more to come. Can't remember whose car it is, maybe a Richard. He was very impressed anyway.

That's all well and good but for how long will a 'mere' 450ish-BHP be good enough? What with Derek doing mad stuff, Phazed and his 5.5 beast as well as the monster TT LS? silly

I built mine with a target of 450 [to match the badge] but had in mind a higher figure after a few miles hence the TKO600 box and twin plate clutch to handle the 573/600 wink

As I was leaving, Dom said, "once you get used to the new power I can fit bigger injectors next year and I can get a good bit more out of her."

It never ends!

Iain, I agree precisely "how long will 450 be enough"? Dom & Jay actually got 468 bhp at the wheels before deciding (with my agreement) that was enough for now and we agreed to back it off to 439 for the sake of the existing & original drivetrain.
However with some improvements in that department, who knows? whistle

Although extremely jealous of great power, I can't help but think that you can have too much for enjoyable safe driving.

No doubt there will be a day that I upgrade mine, (to what I haven't decided) but think that 450 at the fly would be a safe limit.

All you guys that have immense power have made the chim something other then it was, real monster power!

Just keep that in mind and spend money on the best suspension and tyres that you can as it would be so easy to end up in a hedge backwards at speed!

Apart from the above, good job guys smile (father figure mode off).
