Am I the only one that believes drivetrain loss is a constant and not a percentage? Why would a more powerful car lose more bhp though the same drivetrain?
That is a good point bloke.

Does the MMCC have to just be about power? Going round corners is pretty important as well smile

I propose a new a new points system for calculating if your in the MCC or MMCC -

Engine

1 point - 300+ BHP
2 points - 350+ BHP
3 points - 400+ BHP
4 points - 500+ BHP

Brakes

1 point - Uprated Front Brakes (4 pot)
2 points - Uprated Front Brakes (6 pot)
3 points - Uprated Front Brakes (4 pot) + uprated rear.
4 points - Uprated Front + Rear (6 pot + uprated rear)

Shocks

1 point - One Way Adjustable
2 point - Two Way Adjustable
3 point - Three Way Adjustable
1 extra point for springs above 500lbs
1 extra point for springs above 800lbs

Track Upgrades

1 point for having a roll bar
2 points for having a full cage

-

5 points get you into MCC
10 points or more to get into the MMC

Orange is the fastest colour so of course wink

And for the record given I have a 550BHP Cerbera LS3 I do already meet current MMCC rulessmile (ignoring the fact its not quite yet finished) smile

Strewth, I qualify on Nick's points system with six points, so could be a member of the Midget Cock Club.
Only question is: would I want to be a member of a club that would have me as a member? (Groucho Marx)

Also completely ignoring that at the outset MMCC stood for Massively Modified CHIMAERA Club, no Cerbera in that title !

Is it cold out there Nick ?

Yes yes that's all very well Nick but the fact is that acceptance into the MCC has and always will be determined by our esteemed and revered Chairman (Derek) and his trusty all round good guy, the (self appointed) moderator (me)...

It is this arrangement that has prevented argument, conflict, and general anarchy since the clubs inception back in 2012....

On a separate note, I am thinking of volunteering myself to design (subject to approval) an MCC T shirt.... which if approved I would fork out the dosh myself to get a first batch made... biggrin

Reimbursement for said T shirt would be at cost, I don't need to make money from such a venture as I'm already fabulously wealthy biggrin

Opinions and T shirt design suggestions are very welcome smile

On initial thoughts this is ridiculous so a no.
I will consider it further but don't hold your breath. BHP is the second most important attribute to a modified TVR

1/4 mile times command power over all

Ps. 10.61 @ 129.7

This might point you in the right direction.

I'm sure you can come up with a set of qualifying standards that ensures you are top of the tree in any type of club you like.

I''m currently working on a set of qualifying criteria for the "1998 Supercharged RV8 4.6 500+ flywheel bhp 490+ ft/lbs flywheel torque red lupo 4 pot front 2 pot rear decatted" club. It should put me as the highest ranking member, although I may be the only member......oh well at least I'll be the best! sillynuts

Why not just leave it as it is? It was working okay and everyone knows what to aim for - 350 bhp.
The MCC moderator should be deleting those trying to change the criterion rolleyes

Dont worry nothing has changed as far as the MCC is concerned.
The MMCC will still go ahead. It will just be a progression of the MCC for the elite with 500bhp+

Hi Folks
Just got my car back from Joolz and I'm over the moon with the results.
He swapped my Megasquirt for an Emerald ECU and give me 3 maps to choose from.

Stating point of 300hp with a couple of niggles. I had a misfire which turned out to be from a plug extender that was starting to break down and the bigger injectors I had weren't big enough so he changed them from 250cc/min to 310cc/min.

He managed to get 362HP 420ftlb at 12psi boost. not bad for a 4.0l
