For those of us who truly believe that our Chimaera was always perfect, just the way Peter and the boys made her.
For owners that have painstakingly kept the faith, shopped for their spares at original TVR Dealers, and spent the sums of money to maintain originality, that could solve the third world debt crisis.
If your headlights and tail lights are the same as the ones your car came with, if you still remember what an engine looks like without a hair-dryer on it's head; this could be the club for you.
If this sort of thing Modified Chimaera Club (MCC) gives you the horrors and makes you like this, you are probably a candidate.
It's time to stand up and be counted

I would love to join this but:
Damn it
Am I trying to get in the wrong gang?
- I have non standard front tyres on the way
- My front wheels are 1" too big
- My engine managements isn't Lucas
- My suspension is from Gaz
- My cats have left the house
- Some bloke call Rob put a non-standard cam in it
- He also tweaked my oil pressure up
- My flywheel lost weight
- My clutch is from Helix
- My induction pipes are from ACT
- My temperature & oil pressure gauges tell the truth
- My immobiliser has had the snip
- My drop links are from Leven
- My anti-roll bar bushes are poly
- My power steering pipes got the "U" bend mod so don't leak
- I have wireless AFR
- My plugs are iridium

As the "Beautiful" is so strikingly obvious, it was considered uncouth to remind people.Something like:-
