Hi There
This may be a long shot but wondered if anyone has any way back history of my car.
I know she was sold via Checkered Flag TVR in london to someone in Epsom and back in the 90s was sold by David Gerald.
She had the chassis done and engine replaced about 5 years ago and Colin sold her to Ferhurst tvr and they sold it to someone in Spain.
It then came back to Ferhurst where i bought her.
However one thing i am intersted to find out is when she had the leather seats added as leather was not on the build speck that i have from Blackpool.
however where in the car when the restoration was done in 2005/6.

I don't know my old TVRs very well but this numberplate is currently on a red TVR on the Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, BBC 2 (9th Dec 16). Looking Good!

Yes, Andrew (the OP) still owns it and loves it very much but lent it to the production company for the filming.

Oliver.

It not only looked fantastic, but it sounded it too, and the experts were well impressed with it.
A joy to watch

Gosh Andrew you are brave to allow numpties to drive your lovely Vixen, I positively cringed when Lynne Faulds-Wood crunched the gearbox in one sequence. I hope the production company paid you handsomely for the privelage and also insured the car for an appropriate sum.

I take your point and agree with your sentiments, however I am sure your friends are more careful and treat the car with some respect; some people do not have a clue!

What an exciting week this has ended up being.

Following the Vixen appearing on BBC I had an e mail from a rather excited previous owner who was amaze to see his old car still on the road going strong.

Simon Owned the car from 78 until 83/84.

The car was orange when he got her and then changed to Porsche Red he then had an accident in Rochdale and the repair was done at the factory where they fitted a new front.

So good to hear some history as unlike my Tuscan I don't have a lot of history going that far back on the Vixen.

I did wonder if being on the show this might happen rather delighted that it has

Nothing yet on the 3000s but you never know fingers crossed
