Have a look at what you asked.

Then tell me where that didn't deserve a daft answer.

tt back at you.

looks great, by far the best headlight conversion you can do to a Chimaera

What is a front end re spray.. is it both wings ,the bonnet and the front end ?
Daz, just got ours back from a front-end respray and it seem there's no single answer, it depends on how much damage you asked to be sprayed out, the people doing the spraying and of course the agreed price. In Kate's case it meant two thirds of the bonnet (perfectly blended), all the grill/nose end and all of the front wings but that was at my request due to many fine scratches. If your paintwork was better than ours then you wouldn't need so much work.

Hi guys, thanks for the positive comments smile

Yep colour is Highland Pearl, grey in the winter but when the sunlight hits it it sparkles with blues reds greens and God knows what else smile With regard to protective coating, definitely considering this, but next job is get new tyres for the 16" front Estorils that are still standing in as a coffee table in my lounge and fit the 300mm rotors and calipers that are currently residing in the spare room smile

Cheers all..

Thanks for the positive comments Richard, it was a pleasure, and it always makes the job more worthwhile when we get the kind of reaction we had when you saw the finished car. Cheers Ian

Thanks guys, the thread has been resurrected, conversion was done early 2013.. was £900, same (I believe) as the Mk3 units but with VAG (Golf) headlamp units... Really pleased I did it, so much nicer in my opinion than the earlier units.....
