got a couple of bits done today fitted the extra capacity lower tank to the expansion tank, and modified the throttle linkage, with the sc blower the plenum goes on round the other way so the throttle cable has to go through 360 degrees to operate the butterfly leaving a woolly feel to the pedal, so i have modified the linkage it now will have a solid link from where the cable used to attach to a machined quadrant which then has the cable direct to it from the inner wing, shortens the cable to so should be much improved ,also turned up a couple of top hat washers in stainless to fit into the existing speed sensor bracket which in turn accepts the racetech speed sensor for the new dash.

The threaded object is the speed sensor for the dasp2 pro and the large tank is the coolant expansion tank.

another day some more work, got the pulley of the blower and fitted the 80mm diameter one should now produce around 10psi also got the new green giant injectors fitted plus all the sundries vac pipes pressure pipes coils packs blower oil reservoir etc., managed to source the new length belt for the blower amazingly its only 14mm longer so getting there ,should have the new dash blank on friday so can get started on the dash2 pro install should be fun not least of all working out the number of pulses per mile from the speed sensor,

John, will those new injectors supply adequate fuel or are you still going to have to use a rising rate regulator.

The original thinking was rising rate but these can shift 440 cc/m so plenty of fueling available partly why i went for the giants as opposed to red top.

Hi John, the car's coming along brilliantly as always! I'm really interested in your throttle cable mod - this is a problem I've always suffered with too - Would you be able to post or send me a few more detail shots of your solution as I'd really like to do something similar - possibly commission you to knock up another linkage if it's a custom made part?

I will get some good shots of the finished article i am waiting for the clevis linkage ends to arrive once done will post pics and yes i could easily make another if you supplied your original

The temp sensor has never been a problem it is as you suggest in a heat protecting medium plus the plenum is insulated from the manifold hot starts ert. never been a problem.

yes work seems to get in the way want to get the wedge painted before the bad weather, been finishing the reversing throttle linkage so as the back to front plenum dosent have to have a cable going right round in a circle taken a bit of working out always seems simple at first glance anyway heres some pics see what you think.
