On the subject, has anyone else had the plate on bottom swing arm that the rears bolt to bend? mine have, think I'll follow Neals mod and get a solid plate welded in place of.
Have yours got OE drop links or the Mondeo ones?
Steve Heath rose jointed.

How I did it was to unbolt the ARB bolts x 4 and leave the ARB slack then slid the ARB bushes out. I then jacked one side up and fitted the bstd Civic drop link. I then jacked the otherside up and did the same.I then slid the bushes back in using wd40 as a lubricant. Then put the bolts back in and tightened up. Loads of faffing and much swearing.
I had ordered the proper ones from a TVR place (not to be named) and they sent me 2 of the same side ! but it was booked in for a Geo setup 3 days later so had to use the civic ones.

Thanks. Will give that a try tomorrow. Got f**k all done today what with the gearbox linkage issues and now drop links. Started two jobs today and have had to abandon both.
Gonna call it a day and have a drink, even though I'd promised myself a few days off having a beer drunk
What a wasted day.

Ive had them in for a couple of months now and so far so good. Very pleased with them TBH
Just had an MOT and almost failed because of the front drop links, the covers had come off due to the position.
I bought some Civic one but they are so short I'm not going to bother.
How long are the originals??
There must be an alternative that is the same size as TVR used

Leven sell some, beautifully over-engineered, perfect fit, just not cheap, around £100, BYGWYPF.

http://www.leventechnology.co.uk/products/front-dr...

I have them on my car, no wear issues (done 15,000 miles so far, inc track days), handles well, passes MOTs

Thanks Antony, don't go out of your way mate, but thanks and don't get wet. Every time I went outside to do anything today the heavens opened.

No need to get wet I have 2 new TVR ones in original packaging sat in my office. 55mm is the length of the shafts. Shame they are both the same side though. Did you manage to source a Phosphor bronze bush Mick.

Just swapped my clunky Steve Heath ones for the Leven option. Much less noise now.

They were a bit of a struggle but with the ARB unbolted they went straight on.
Did you completely unbolt the ARB mounts and then fit them? Or did you do as Wuckfit Racing did and loosen the mounts and slide out the rubbers?

Why? When I put the Steve Heath drop links and the most recent swap to the Leven ones I jut took out the old drop link. The SH and Leven ones are adjustable. Just put the car on axle stands and then the jack under the damper to get them in and adjust on the ground.
