drill and screw spark plugs into the tips of the exhaust.
proper flamer kits will cut off the ignition so unburnt fuel is used for the flames. Or if you're running a mappable ECU you could set it up

Loving the flames Mr poxon!
Matt's video (Mr Poxon) - thanks Matt.

Car has straight thru pipes and flick switch for flames on the dash (2 settings on Emerald).

Having said that I had flames coming from my new SEAC today (according to 'misteradz' who was following).

You would have many more views if you changed the title. You need to loose that pjac67 and change to a start of either TVR Griffith Dyno test or put V8 in the title somewhere.

Watch your fame grow smile I search everyday for TVR related stuff and yours is anonymous with that code at the front.

You are right but I am not really too bothered by views to be honest. That was just a quick and dirty iPhone video I took at the Growl of Paul's Griff which I uploaded mainly for Paul's benefit. I only normally share the videos with friends, family and and fellow TVR nutters on Facebook and on here.

I just checked and the top viewed video of mine is the one of poor Derek's Chim letting go at Santa Pod. I think the only reason that has lots of views is because Derek posted it on some of the drag racing forums he frequents.

Fully understand that the view count does't bother you.. But there are many TVR nuts out there who would maybe like to see anything TVR related and your title hides the search criteria. 817 views..... you must be a lovely person or just a very big family smile

To the OP,

If you are serious about changing your exhaust my advice would be to listen to as many as possible, find one you like and copy it. Vidoes are good to get an idea but you also need to hear them in person as some may sound great on video but in reality may be a bit too harsh or have resonance at certain speeds etc.

Have a look at these two entries on my blog when I was looking at exhausts as I went through a similar decision making process.

The standard exhaust can be made in to the ACT sports exhaust .. This was my conversion done for £150 by an exhaust fabricator .

Only half of them LOL - you can't blame me though.... (although I think the view count doesn't increase if repeated/same user wink ).

More than happy for Matts fame (and my car) to increase - if it gets > 1m hits do we share the revenue.....?

On a technical (noise) front I am sure the noise when on a RR is not as good when driving/under load, especially when 'lifting off' evil

Will have to post a vid up when I'm running the 5.4 (not sure if ther'll be much change?).

Paul.
