Circa 1998.... 1340 Harley, delivered the best man to the church.... very proud to be an usher at my mate's son's wedding,,,,, We did the stag do skiing in Verbier (Switzerland...) Clarkson raced Hammond and May to it a few years later, think it was a Ferrari...
Al, you're the best judge... do I look cool or what?... I was going through my 'I'll be back' period at the time... Ya know, 'Come with me if you want to live'....
Just to add the hotel is half way up Reigate Hill.... I'm sure Peter will know it

After much deliberation and Phazed's (Peter) opinion some months ago (), I decided to change the look of the front grille. And to reduce the silly big number plate while at it. A few coats of satin black on the previously shiny stainless steel and a new look.
So its even more of a sleeper now.......
I so much prefer the pre-face lift without the splitter across the 'mouth'..... And that colour is bloody lovely....So its even more of a sleeper now.......

They where cheap ones 10GBP, I have seen some discolouration after some 320 miles. They went from blue to brown to white at the points that are closest to the manifolds.
That's all I paid for mine off ebay, still working after two years and 4k miles. During my service a couple of months ago I checked the leads for heat hardening and found no problems. The trick is to keep them pulled up tight to the rocker covers and don't pack them out with insulation, they need an air gap between the sock and the lead on the hot side so that air can circulate to sweep the heat awayFinally got home after 350 miles driving, decided to prepare the car for tomorrow's track day.
Last drove the car just over a week ago.
Battery now pancake flat...and in the boot.
Used the secret way in and managed to detach the release cable. Bugger!!
Started the car with my jump pack, got it over to the battery charger, and pissed off indoors.
Still 28 degrees outside.
Wheel change and all the rest now scheduled for 5.30 am
I can see it's going to be a good day......
