Dropped some wheels off to be refurbed. Collected one and gave it three coats of Poorboys. Another coat today then fit tomorrow.

Some plastering.

Drilled some mounting holes.

Swapped oever some ironmongery.

In fairness only one task was car related.

Today I've got my feet up. Got a stiff neck and its getting worse. A censored in a white van wrote off my white van this morning. Stationary turning right, indicator on and foot on brake pedal but he didn't see me. madfuriouspunchgrumpyirkedranting
Floor buckled and side panel twisted so goodbye to my ultra reliable little van that I've nurtured, washed and polished since new. 10 years old with just 80,000 miles, on original clutch and worth censored all.

New Coil, Ceramic leads and shrouds fitted bit of over kill but additional protection for the leads.(needed to also get 4 straight rubber shrouds as the leads only come with right angle shrouds for reference) also new Distributer Cap and Rotor arm (plugs just changed on its annual service last month).
Also cut and profiled a new inner wing heat shield from aluminised fibre glass just got to rivet and glue it in place.smile

Sorry to hear about this incident and hope you not in too much discomfort. Get that neck checked out or you will have problems for years to come................................ even then you may still have. The cold especailly effect it as I know only too well.

Don't settle the injury insurance claim until you are absolutely certain of the extent of your injuries. My daughter had a crash at 18, other driver's fault, her shoulder was dislocated in the crash. She settled within 6 months.
12 years later she has just had her 4th and 5th stabilisation operations and it has dislocated approximately 500 times in those 12 years. Endless time in bed, endless trips to A&E...

That's awful. I know how debilitating a shoulder injury can be.
