Peter, I must have missed something here, what are you up to with all this stripping down and comparing heads etc etc..?????
Decided as the stage 4 heads are best part of £2K and much more efficient, stage 4 goes to 5.5 and stage 3 goes to 4.6, easy smile

The other litre of ATF220 arrived today, so I can finish topping up the gearbox later. Complete chassis done (body on refurb), so the riggers should hold out a few more years. The actual main chassis was pretty good. However, its all benefitted from a complete scrape back, de-waxoil with heavy duty engine degreaser, final degrease with xylene, rust converter, two coats Regel 1510p chassis paint, two top coats of enamel and finished with a liberal coat of Dinitrol wax this afternoon. I'l start replacing cable ties tomorrow and het the rear ARB, drop links and exhaust on. All going back together now!

I dunno.......there was a time when a chap googled "porn" and got the expected array of bits and boobs.
These days googling porn seems to direct one to the TVR rebuild pages of Piston Heads.....

What's the world coming to??confused

Made my own "hot start kit" since David of Modwise has taken his time without sending and then went on vacation. Was easy and cheap! Got the connectors wrong 4 times before it worked biggrin

Changed diff oil, Gulf 75w-140LS
Changed Engine oil and filter, Gulf 10-60 racing

Today I'll fit the new Toyo R888s I just got and harden the shocks by two clicks evil

oh and I also went to a glass specialist to fix/fill up two big stone chips in the front screen, went from horrible to invisible, and safer smile And insurance pays this...

Nothing so mechanical for me. I sat in the seat and heard a jangle of coinage fall out of my shorts pocket . On the search to recover I realised it must happen quite often . I recouped 32.19 from under my seat . Free Blat ! biggrin

You see that's the novice's error there. He had filled the car with the money in it previously so now when he fills it without the money then bingo. Huge weight saving.

biggrin

ETA; missed the smiley.

+1 on that

Mine ran smoother, cooler and had better pressures when running on castrol 10-60
