Saloons were 3.0 straight 6s but the coupes could be had with the newfangled Rover V8 3500 iirc.

Not quite in the 60s but 59 today, (cue laughter and jokes about zimmer frames etc.

Spent a couple of hours renewing a Clio brake master cylinder as a favour to my son, (who's still asleep!).

Lowered the ride height? or adjusted the headlights? laugh
Typical TVR, cut away a bit of the inner wheel arch to discover the adjusters!

Spend suggested the best way is a tee at the oil pressure light switch with it piped from there.

Beware plastic oil pipe which is normally fine but mine exploded when mapping as the heat build up was excessive! Resulted in a fire that was quickly extinguished................

Breaking news - may have found garage, 5 minute walk from current drum, hoping to buy maybe back end of Feb or early March. Has small cottage attached.

Put suspension unit on the green chim, removed rear callipers as they had stuck on the discs and fitted a set of Imolas.

Engaged much muscle power and pushed it into the garage now vacated by Mr 5.5.

Now lots of work to prepare car for selling.

After leaving the car outside for about 3-4 months, (under a half cover until the storm!) I can't believe how everything degrades!

All the alluminium oxidises, huge rust on discs and the whole car looks neglected.

How some of you guys keep your P & J outside all year....................it must be a constant battle to keep on top of things!

Nothing yesterday but today.

Eager to sort my ongoing rattle at the rear when going over uneven surfaces I turned up at the GAZ factory at Basildon at 7.50am.

After a test drive I left the car with them to put on the ramp and work their magic with the coil overs.

I retired to one of their offices and carried on my work at a desk provided and drank copious amounts of their tea.

Five hours later they had stripped the dampers, changed this and that, dynoed them, refitted, fettled, fiddled and tried to sort what I had insisted was a fault with their product.

Finally I test drove the car and the noise was still at the rear. Guess what, they had fitted a new set of GAZ Golds and the noise was still there!!!!!!!!!!!!

GAZ 10,......phazed, a fat zero.........

I apologised for wasting their time and asked what the damage was, £. They just smiled and sent me on my way, cheers Mark thumbup

Rattling still there, fking thing furious

Richard, I think most 450‘s wouldn't be anywhere near 275 with just a smooth bore kit. You must have a very fit engine.

I've got a week off from work in a couple of weeks and think I'll be paying a visit to Surrey Rolling Road to get my actual numbers. smile
That's where the £7K Cerb is.
