Nope and I have less hair left!

New crank sensor on order and will pick up 8.30am tomorrow.

Even that is just a shot in the dark.

Had to cancel mapping session as well, very, very disappointing!

if you turn the engine over and go into tooth logger in Tuner Studio does it show anything? Is it picking up the signal from the existing sensor?

hmm ok smile
does the rev counter move when cranking the engine? if it does then the crank sensor would seem to be working as it's picking up the signal and sending to the ECU

That test is not concrete with MS and using the tacho converter for these cars Brett frown

I thought he had MS & that MS has a LED on the front that shows crank triggering?

I still have the impression that flashing LED on end near middle will mean 99.9% certainty Crank sensor is working & absence of flicker would be 75% certainty crank sensor fault? Don't think theres that much going on between rpm trigger & firing spark LED in the MS IYSWIM & AFIK you always have that LED as spark (may be EDIS is different ~ not applicable for Peter I assume).

These ones but it depends if they are active (you can switch them on or off in Tuner-studio)

AFIK The light on the left is THE signal for the spark line (activates the driver) ~ sounds like you're spouting EDIS experiences Simon?

Got my rear ARB bent in by 25mm on each side to compensate for the Mondeo drop links and applied first coat of paint... again! The stainless perforated pipe also arrived for my exhaust... I was really hoping the wadding would've been here too rolleyes
The 51mm OD pipe is a perfect fit for the original slots left by the original. Those digital vernier calipers you recommended Simon certainly have come in handy!

Looks to me like no holds barred porting and roller rockers... excellent stuff

My contribution this evening (and yesterday evening) was battling with a 6 inch length of polylock flexi exhaust (oem system to turbo down pipe). Tomorrow's contribution will hopefully be the conclusion of that battle rolleyes
