IIRC Pierre has an AFR gauge fitted so can monitor the damage as he goes....

Won the battle of the Polylock link after dropping the front exhaust hanger bolt (one that screws in the block - anyone know the thread of this?), like a Chinese puzzle getting wastegate, down pipe and link pipe all in place. Replaced neoprene foam packing between rad top and body, took off and cleaned up/repainted O/S front ARB clamp after removing lower rad hose that took me about an hour to install to start with irked

Stuck little 'Big stereo sound' sticker under Chim badge on rear; recycled from new DAB radio cool

Joolz reckons that an AFR at 15-15.5 at small throttle cruise is fine.

As a temp bodge, you could try adjusting the throttle bypass a little. Will richen the whole map

Not sure that works on the ACT throttles as well as the rover plenum...

Far easier to crank the FPR for a few extra psi IMHO.

If it's on Emerasld (seem to recall it might be), just increase the 'MBPS' number by 1 or 2 for a fractional richening of the whole map - if it's actually an issue. If it's drivable and cruising at 15 -15.5 AFR, just trundle up on very light loads

That`s what mine runs at and a bit more from 60 to 80 mpg on the ECO map but town driving is a little shunty so i pop it back on to standard map .

Not noticed any saving in the pocket . These modified RV8`s are rubbish on petrol ,the good old standard 4l on the 14cux and achieve 30mpg ,my MGRV8 would do 35mpg but it was only 180hp ,funny thing is it was comfortable at 130mph and has some left .

You seem to pay alot for 1 second quicker up to 60mph .

Then I'll tell you what I will find you a 180 BHP 4.0 for a straight swap for your 5.0 then everyone's happy rolleyes and the end of the day Daz you have 8 pistons bobbing up and down and they all need feeding those figures you quote are at constant light load speeds and that's just not real world, just put it in the tank you cant take it with you its what you work for confused

It's running MS and a standard regulator which is quite possibly a 2.5 bar.

When Joolz mapped it last he said the fuel delivery was fine and endured it was a tad rich at the top end.

It might be worth fitting a 3.0 bar regulator for the future mapping.

What are the gains ,if the fuel pump is up to it the spray patern on 2.5 bar is perfect . Some testing must of been done for the most efficient way of delivering fuel in to the engine .

Are you think about sticking a 3bar or adjusting for safety all the way up to Chesterfield . Why not go for a run and watch the afr .
