Actually did something on my car.

Checked the oil.

Then moved the auxilliary belt so that it goes the correct way around the pulleys confused

Then went for a drive up to Gainsborough and dropped in on a track day at Blyton Park. Couple of TVRs taking park (Tamora and a 2.9 S) and a couple watching (Cerbera and a Chim).
Didn't go on track, but had a good blast on the roads there and back.

The remote gearbox linkage. If that's what it is, it's seriously impressive.

Got home early afternoon yesterday to find the front door key to the new gaff on the doormat smile We completed on Friday but I'd already left for my daughters wedding... So, me and beastie zoomed over to the new place, beastie sat waiting expectantly outside the double garage with workshop attached while I went to check out the cottage and find the rest of the keys..... Which weren't anywhere in the house. And as it's bank holiday weekend I can't get hold of anyone from the estate agents... so far..

I was hoping today would be my first proper 'what I did in the garage yesterday' post......

Similar tale for me, new gaff, nice garage for the TVR.

But some how my TVR is still lives in my lockup & my mates 912 has found a new home in my garage.

How did that happen confused

Should marmitise opinion but seemed to grow an air intake last night - see the 'ducting' thread for some hopefully sensible discussion of the thinking (and yes the bonnet does close with room to spare, and no that's not a tell-tale on the underbonnet heat shield) smile

Something like this

Still a nice car to have in any garage Dave! There's something quite special about the old Porkers. The late 80's 911 Turbo is still one of my favorite Porche's... And check out the price of them!!! They still don't have the sound of the TVR's though.

Glad to hear that you are residentially sorted!

I look forward to seeing the fully equipped garage some time soon.........or at least the polishing bay with the obligatory seat for admiring the car while supping a glass of Merlot smile

I've pretty much done bugger all over the weekend apart from driving the 4.6 and fitting a new plenum gasket to the 5.5 in preparation for a mapping session with Joolz.

Was gonna go for a test some time today but it hasn't stopped pishing down!

Oh well, the test with the temporary map will be first thing tomorrow morning, hope it stops raining frown.
