I got the a bottle of renovo rejuvenation and one of the waterproofing out, did the roof and then washed and waxed the car yesterday. It's been pissing it down today and there's more beads of water running off of the roof than there is on the paintwork, so I think that should be good enough to see me through this winter woohoo

Did mine too the weekend, using an all in one kit from a rat st company who supplied me a container with a split in it. Which made a nice mess of my garage floor, and nearly ruined my interior and paintwork.

Anyone wanting a heads up of the company in question so they don't suffer the same misfortune, mail me.

Aha - I see. Does the orange paint indicate it's a pre-turpentine engine? confused

Yes, that's very much the idea - what filter are you using and did you make any sort of sccop? Looks like you've made good use of the under-bonnet space there too yes

Good luck - hope it comes up to your expectations.
After all, there's a certain Chim 4.3 in need of a thrashing.....

Finally....

Got the rest of the keys to the new gaff this morning, including the garage keys smile Workshop on the side is huge, and is fitted with big sturdy benches smile

Insulation is hanging off the doors, and the whole lot needs cleaning and prepping, but good lighting, and lots of space smile

So, clean, decorate, install beer fridge and naked girly calendar, and check out the heating for those long winter nights playing with beastie smile

woohoo

Finished putting the engine back in the P5B, fired it up, got it moving and all reassembled ready for an MOT next Sat.

Now I need some good weather so I can enjoy a few days out in the Chim.

Traffic and more traffic at my end.

Well after spending the afternoon at Joolz for a mapping session after fitting the stage 4 heads and the roller rockers and meeting Spend for the first time!

The results are in;

That's 384.8 BHP/428 torques

Performance is noticeably 40 BHP and 30 torques faster.

It was worth it in the end!
