Replaced all the rad fan connectors as they were rather rusty, fitted DTM connectors much better and waterproof

Knocked the fking drivers mirror loose putting some shelves up. It was a pain in the arse to tighten last time, reckon it's proper fooked now. What a tool!

Liking the spacers Simon - are the dimensions a constant or do they need establishing car to car?

Hi Gary unfortunately not frown I am sure Dave would be happy to spec some for you though wink my RR's are shimmed so that the roller tip is central to the valve stems (well pretty much) its this that interferes with the spacer dimensions along with the outrigger posts scratchchin Dave likes to use those stock Rover buckled washers to allow for expansion etc rather than just shimming to a best guess clearance nerd

yep, it is time consuming getting the correct rocker/valve tip alignment.

Did that and with my lightly skimmed heads, seemed to be correct out of the box.

Looks fantastic Neal but how the heck are you going to vent those wastegates? Two chimneys through the bonnet? evil

Replaced the O/S outrigger last night (with body on), A bit of a pain to say the least! but its done now. The N/S one can wait till i remove the body for a refurb in the next year or two, But the O/S one was almost non existant, It was suspect last year but appeared ok(ish), but what a difference 12 months make, Rot, Rot,Rot is all i can say. Any one who is looking at their outriggers get a bent screwdriver and check the top, It wasnt there in my case.
Not hard to do but time consuming as aligning the tubes to be sleeved, measuring, cutting, tacking, as it has to be done one leg at a time. The angled pieces were the hardest to cut right, and the seat belt mount in the tube lined up a treat.
and i always follow the old saying......
Ive cut it twice, and it still doesn't fit!! wink
I will try and get some pics as the last thing i was thinking about at 2 this morning was 'I must take a photo!'
