Looks fantastic Neal but how the heck are you going to vent those wastegates? Two chimneys through the bonnet?
I'm in the garage at the moment making the link pipes. Will run across to the downpipes. How's yours running ?
Biggest surprise (and success if it holds good for higher boost levels) is the charge cooler. Despite being in the bay and above the nearside manifold, it stays stone cold with the pump running and is giving inlet temps pretty much at ambient. Leaving the pump off, it absorbs heat predictably enough but sheds it very quickly when the pump is flicked on. I have a neat SC Power heat-shield for that side but haven't felt the need to fit it yet.
So, so far so good, but expect I'll upset all that soon enough now I've a set of 42lb injectors and an 044 pump to introduce to the party
Continued to make slow but sure progress on the interior. One seat left and some small pieces to finish up. Will be getting a new set of black carpets and some sound deadening material later. Also opted for the safe option of taping from the boot release power cable for the mirror drive recorder as it's on the right side of the car for where the cable runs and comes on with the ignition.

Walked out into the garage, looked at my cars and the massive garage space I have and wondered where I'm going to find garage like this where I'm moving to.
:sigh:
Our old house was a beautiful Edwardian house with a tinsy garage.:sigh:
Apparently I was miserable for the whole 5 years we were there
Happy now though
Fitted the new GAZ shocks, wheel spacers, changed gearbox oil, topped up all other fluids, changed fuel pressure regulator, light tune, swapped an engine mount, straightened exhaust and tried to ... track down the reason my boot release doesn't work (fuse needed changing but still only works occasionally) and tried to change a motor mount (ended up giving up on his job)
Tomorrow I need to fix interior light, finish fixing boot release, fix dash light (full beam dash light comes on when headlights are on normal) and generally tidy her up for the upcoming MOT.

Is the 500hp LS engine going in that hole ?
I guess not if he left the T5 in there. What you up to Peter? Not more heartache i hope.
Engine lifted by my son, (starts new job on Monday)
Prep and paint chassis in that area,
Renew wishbones in tubular
Change back to the Nitrons, (being revalved now),
Re routing PS pipes
Ditto Breathers
Ditto Oil cooler pipes
Fitting larger oil cooler
Changing electric PS pump,
Fit SC Power engine mounts,
Fitting stronger clutch release arm
Possibly sourcing lighter manly clutch
Possibly fitting solid cam and lifters
The good news is that when stripping down we found that 2 of the 3 carbon fibre trumpets fitted in front of the TBs were lying in the neck of the inlet and it still made 385 bhp!
Joolz couldn't work out why it would sometimes shunt and 2 minutes later would be fine, now we know....
