But earlier!
Well thats the clue to the answer, as I'm sure Joo told you... Sure Rob will fix it given the RR data's.
You sure the YT's are the same ratio as the Volvo ones you took out BTW? (guessing at what you replaced)
Don't forget, the roller rockers were on when I fitted the stage 4 heads that gave the good figures.

Well, after putting the engine and rebuilt diff in, polybushing the whole car plus a handful of other bits and bobs and taking it for a full 10 mile test drive yesterday, I..........
Drove to Narfolk, full geo at Matt Smith sports cars, painless, professional and good value.
Then drove to Chesterfield for Joolz to check the map after fitting a solid 404 cam, (well V8D did).
Upshot is;
Car feels great on the road as it should do,
Engine has lost 18 bhp.........
The good news is that it didn't miss a beat over 430 miles.
The bad news is that I'm totally confused/disappointed/miffed, etc, etc.
Questions to be answered......................

I admire how much you are sticking with the rover v8 in n/a..but surely depending on your comp ratio a decent turbo would see you with more than enough power forever.
Or come to the darkside...a nice LS in there
Not sure Peter was expecting much more Neal but def not less, considering its the same model just the non hyd version, I reckon that cam is installed too advanced for Peters motor been mentioned so many times before but cam grinders suggested timing is not suitable for every variation of CC or engine tune, just a shame it can't be swung easily without major hassle.

exactly what I think.I'll be contacting Rob tomorrow.
The last two weeks have finally caught up with me this morning. Really stiff shoulder and ribs so have got hardly anything done that I wanted to this weekend.
I have managed to swap the rear backbox on Tamy today. Discovered the front pipes weren't tightly clamped up so they promptly came out of the CATs. Also missing the 'middle' exhaust mount.
So what I hoped would be an hours effort turned into three. Feeling exhausted now but Tamy is ready for Brands. The standard backbox is a lot quieter.
Didn't have the strength to re-fit the lower valance or number plate though.
