Cheers.
Shame its all coming apart again for Cometic head gaskets.
Will also do some extra inlet porting and tidy up the wiring this time.

That got a curve machined into it? Can we see a profile shot?

I'm guessing that's an aftermarket billet one rather than a re-machine of the cast TVR 500 unit? If I'm wrong, could you PM who has done it Simon as I have a new 500 one that would lend itself to similar treatment...

Looks great smile

Fitted these......

£6.45 off the Bay of Fleas, Fiesta Mk 4/5.....the orange ones just looked wrong.

Yes, I know it's not in the same league as turbocharging a Chim, but for me it's a major achievement.....yes

It's Pastidip. Car needed a full respray, HM Robinu and Custard needed my cash, so I took the cheap option after seeing T4NGO's thread on his Sagaris, which he Plastidipped in white.

I went for subtle Chameleon Purple as i wanted something brighter than Starmist Blue. I had it done with added glossifier, as I am not a fan of completely matt finishes.

T4NGO (Alan Jones of Matt Pack) sprayed it for me, £750 for an 8 coat job. I am a "thrash it round the B roads in all weathers and do track days merchant", so not bothered about Concourse d'Elephant finishes.

It peels off in a couple of hours when you fancy a change

Messed about with trying to fettle Steve Edwards' cowls onto some 7" headlights to see if we can get then to fit under the faired in light housing without having to chop the original wings about which would make it easily reversible back to original if required at a later date.

I think I'm getting there.

Ran out of time tonight and hope to get a look at the front tomorrow to see how it looks. The originals look a bit bug eyes and I'm hoping the slightly smaller lights faired in will improve the look and allow us to do away with the lens being separate from the reflector.

Decided to move the Ecu and wiring that lives around the battery, cant understand why its such a mess down there! Fits under the dash ok.
Had to eliminate the rear passenger side dash fixing but have some ideas for that.

I would like to see some pictures of this conversion with the smaller lense.

that can be simple, once you upload the first, you close the upload thing...and then you start again the same procedure in the same field, you always have to close the upload thing and then open it again yesthumbup

You uploaded them right, but you have to put a space between each one otherwise it only displays the first.

Like the idea, I'll probably do it too when I move the battery thumbup

Was inspired by an older thread about helping ventilation in the car when the top was on. But didn't want to physical screw anything to the body, even if just to the underside. Also wanted to be able to alter the modification to try different positions to get the best results.

So started with a design in tinkercad

After hours of ####ing around with the printer, managed to get a somewhat useable part.

Fitted together and attached to car. With this design I can try rotating to different directions to see which gives the best results. Once am happy with a final design can increase to 2 or even 3 per side if needed.

Overall I think time to retire the old printer and get a new one that can get better print quality more consistently.

Stock TVR/SDI 28lbs IIRC (the black one in shot is 19 however) and the shiny one 14.5 biggrin
