What's wrong with your 46mm shocks ?
Appalling ride quality, crashy, rock hard on soft, etc, etc.

Standard was very bad, they revalved them and they are better but still poor.

They went back yesterday to have revised pistons fitted.

Joolz who has fitted countless sets of dampers and sets cars up drove my chim last week. He slated the ride within 10 seconds of driving!

Anyhow, fingers crossed!
this is not good for a expensive shock, I bet you were very disappointed with the product and the customer service?

You betcha.

Hopefully there will be further improvement when they return.

I have the temporary standard NTRs fitted! not impressed either.

I have what was specified 500/400 springs. I believe they are too stiff for the road although no doubt better for the track.

Is there a compromise?

As to the torque, all I can say is that accelerating in any gear at any speed is super rapid.

From 70 or 100 in fifth, plant your foot and everything disappears and it isn't FI!

More plans for the future but a little bit of investigating to do first.

I suspect you have more torque in a more useful place. Not fancying my chances out of corners on track days......that car is now a true animal.

As to springs, I am very happy with 400/375 on my GGPs

Changed the throttle cable as a precautionary maintenance job and also connected the boot release into a permanent 12 volt source.
My back or my knuckles are not thanking me for it today!

Did nothing at all over the weekend as there was at this point, "nothing to do".

Decided last night to rerun a couple of wires above the battery for neatness and before you know it I'd ordered a Red Top battery for the boot and a load of cabling and fittings!

Now, just got to make up a bracket for the battery to sit above the fuel tank and Bobs a goodun.

Also ordered an insulated power post to bolt onto the inner wing for easy jump starts and charging.

And a battery cut off switch to mount next to the battery........

Can't be that obsessive or you would have noticed someone's knicked your Chim and replaced it with a red shed hehe

Ask away!

I use some heat proof/reflective heavy duty cloth stuff cut to size and held to chassis rails with jubilee clips, real TVR style laugh

Stripped down my front suspension last night. Wishbones and coilovers are off. I've also removed both track rod ends so that I can replace the steering gaiters.

Just need to strip down the back suspension now. Then it's removing all of the bushes, send the wishbones away for thermal zinc spraying, painting and then rebushing with new Powerflex bushes. Also sending the coilovers away to be serviced.

Need to order a few bits now. Ball joints, track rod ends, rack gaiters....

All the above is a labour of love!

Satisfying once it's done.
