Just rap it tonight and paint and hope it's not too loud

Cleaned welded and painted ready to go back on

Decided to board up the headlights.
That is one gorgeous looking car, I would really love on of those, the Chim looks OK too.
They're not expensive at the moment and just beginning to rise a bit in value. Simple to maintain and most parts easily available if you buy the V8, obvioulsy as the engnes in the two cars in the pic are the same, just tuned to a diffenet level.

You'd never know that you've been in there;)

How about welding on a wide band boss for the future?

Winter surgery has started, although the interior on mine was in good shape, I've never been happy with the fake leather interior, so today it went from this

To this

Keeping the same colour scheme but going 100% leather smile

Then a nice new dash going in when the interior comes back smile

That new dash section looks gorgeous, where is that from?

I bought the dash from TVR MADS £240 delivered, the gloss finish is flawless smile

Opened up the inlet manifold to 45mm.

So it can take one of Jools`s blendid bases.

Just need to polish them up now. First one done.

Very nice, makes mine look like crap hehe

Have you ported right through the inlet?

I never bothered taking mine to a polished finish. I thought a sanded finish would be enough and negate fuel dropout or whatever its called. Maybe this only applies to the heads.

Just gone as far down as i could, basically up to where the port goes square.

The head end of mine has been polished nicely for about 1.5 inches in. Presume this was done by TVR. This end nicely matches the heads so dont want to open it up any.

I`m sure your sanded finish is fine Derek. I suspect the polish i`ve done wont have much effect on power but it does look nice.

Thanks to phazed for the use of his post lift. That enabled me to sort out the knocking exhaust. Put the ACT backbox back on too.

Arrived whilst is was snowing. Left in glorious sunshine, so roof down. Still cold though.

Today, removed this (it's been redundant for a while)

Then relocated washer bottle

Front now looks like this (now refitting the horn)
