It doesn't look to me like you've got the heater plumbing quite right...

Tee off swan-neck should be a pipe all the way under the inlet manifold (which used to go heater to water pump direct)
and the front tapping from the inlet manifold blocked off (feed to heater is from pipe screwed in at rear).

Its is fairly important as this is your only real circulation before the stat opens (even if you don't care about the heater working)

Spend. I am not running a heater. The rear tapping pipe that would go to the heater I have blanked off. This leaves the front tapping which I have plumbed into the bottom hose / pipe as you can see. Are you saying this wont provide enough circulation prior to the stat opening.

Should be ok, circulation should be improved but the 'reservoir' volume a little less.

Lovely work on the 4.3, looks a treat yum

My contribution today was to fetch my rear wheels from the refinisher and fit. Simple but satisfying smile

changed the battery cables to 50mm flexible welding cable, what a difference it has made to the cranking speed.

I've had a good few evenings in the garage this week, all 4 corners back on the car, brakes bled and just waiting for the wheels to go back on, get it off the stands and then refit the exhaust and ARB.
Car is booked in for a full geo set up at track developments near castle Combe and just can't bl00dy wait to get behind the wheel again biggrin
