You wait til my cars sorted,, about 2020 and I'll be up ya chuf old bean,,, : rolleyes:
Ha, I've got it, dot dot dash dash, bleeding nonsense lol
Hmmm... I used to have a lovely piano black Pearl BLX. 8,10,12, 14,15 and 22. Complete set Sabian HH all rack mounted with DW double pedals. Also had Premier hand stained birch kit for gigging. Always preferred birch to maple. Would love to get back into it. Have been looking at Roland stuff... Just a matter of time (and money).I did a gig on LSD ONCE

Chuff, I've got a Roland TD5 as a practice kit, it's great for giving lessons on and headphones,, it's great to use to play along to tunes with as you can mix in the kit to match the music volume,
Helps people get the feel,,
I havnt played for awhile either ( gigging)
I have a1975/6 Premier Resonator 4 piece,,
All white, I used to have allsorts of other bits around it,
I have a ( long board bass pedal,,, toe and heel technique)
Super fast at triplets,
That allows my hi hat foot to use another bass drum pedal connected to a huge cowbell,, I can again use toe and heel to keep the hi hat pressed shut whilst tapping out a cowbell rif with my heel.
Loads of cymbals, slash/ crash and ride,, conga's, bongos,
Oh my snare is a Pearl Japanese ( jumbo) all wooden with wooden rims,,,
Cross stick sounds ace.
In fact the whole kit was restored by myself a few years ago, all new chrome rings and skins etc,
My cymbal stands can all take at least two cymbals,,
I'm moving on Thursday so I'll be putting the Roland back up in the conservatory
I'll take a pic, it's the biz,

Been a busy little bee over the last few weekends.
Took the brake fluid reservoir of Samy to aid a fellow S owner. Still no word on whether Samy is going to be repaired or not. The report is 'almost' done.
So attention has been on Tamy.
Fitted a new rear view mirror with some integrated map / courtesy lights. Great little mod that actually illuminates the interior when you get in.
Repositioned the heater fan module into the freash air vent. Also, soldered the supply wiring to the module to remove the rubbish plug connector.
I now have a reliable heater fan and can see inside the car in the dark.
Moved onto changing the weeping radiator and replacement of the corroded mild steel pipework. Got the cooling system stripped and flushed. Removed the radiator and dry fitted all the bits. Slight issue with one of the new stainless steel pipes but that is in hand. Have ordered an load on new fixings so should be able to finish the job this weekend. Aaron alloy rad fitted in very easily with no mods.
I cut and shaped some black mesh to fill the radiator grill. Will bond it on this weekend.
Whilst doing the above I also lowered the airbox as it was catching on the wiper mechanism. I also noticed the al;ternator belt needs replacement - on order.
I changed the cracked front spotlight for a new one and swapped the H7 bulbs for some nice LED 2500lm (each) items. Very good output and now the colour matches the Jeep LED headlamps.
Finally, discovered what the wheel was rubbing on full lock. Turned out to be the headlamp access cover. So that needs to be repaired this weekend.
Currently Tamy is sitting on axle stands on the drive. Have allowed a couple of weekends toget the works finished - allowing for poor delivery of bits etc...
No pictures though.

I think you blow Peter,,, Can I join the club?
We need a Tvr band,,,,
The Chimeara Brothers
Anybody got a better name,,,,,,,,
Ok sorry I'm of topic, well you do play em in the garage when your a kid,and send the neighbours insane
I can see a huge Tvr gig in your grounds Peter,,, hahah
Daz on bass
Simon on lead guitar
Anthony on keys or violin, he'll go at me for that, hehe
Blitz on Pa and lighting
I better stop now!!!
Grayham on Sax
Hahah it would be a great laugh,,,
We'd have to hand out ear defenders when the guests show!
Funny enough I'm off out this evening to see a band,, free in a local pub but the musicians are always first class.
So Chilli on Drums then,,
Really Chiili, cool man.
Can you play or just starting out?
Sell it and buy mine,
I've had it confirmed my lower back is goosed,,
I can play ok but if I do it regularly my back gives me real grief
I'll set my kit up when I move, just for an evening,,
I've got about 15 cymbals including gong, some of them are almost brand new,,
It's like a Tvr you just love building it up.
I don't think I can ever sell it but it's just tucked away all the time.
I think my bass pedal was about £500 alone,,
Snare from about £400
Cymbals ,,,, fk knows, small fortune.
I keep thinking I'll go and play in a band again but at my age it's never gonna happen!

Did you use their primer first?
I just scrubbed the bejeezus out of them and dried thoroughly. It's a product they call 'Pealizer' which is a silvery paint with metal flake in it. If it turns out crap then you just peel it off.Just a £12 experiment and a bit of fun really, seems OK so far but if it doesn't last then I'll get them done properly.

Without the primer, does it peel easily?

If you use the primer it's there for good?
Without the primer, does it peel easily?
According to Youtube, yes it should peel easily but only if you pick an edge and pull at it. I wanted to be able to remove it if the finish was poor.Without the primer, does it peel easily?
Will update on durability after a few miles/washes

Saxophone and clarinet (very badly) and the odd bit of geeeetar. None of it up to any sort of gigging standard.
