I would love to play in a smaller band. We only had 3 Alto's last night and some tough stuff...at least for me and it certainly focuses the mind!
Can't imagine you driving a Suzuki Alto, Graham..... hehe Not your style or your lovely Mrs'

Lovely Mrs'! Sorry to say, she doesn't look at Pistonheads, but she would be sure to agree.. More of an Eb Alto than a Suzuki version

Got tyres fitted to the new RL7's and set about spraying them a slightly lighter colour - Plastidip is a brilliant product, even I can get a decent finish.

Feeling a little sick....they're talking about 5K for its "MOT" and oil leak fix.

Anyone wanna buy a Hayabusa?

Is that Pounds or Yen ? What sort of oil leak ? Thought you'd spent a lot on improvements etc so surprised by such MOT issues, are they a lot more rigorous in Japan ? In any case I feel for you mate !!

Pounds mate. Typically budget about 1000-1500 for an MOT, even if nothing wrong. Should have the actual quote and breakdown of the price in a couple of days. Previous shop thought the oil leak was just the rear crank gasket, but apparently not the case. They are roughly saying about 2K parts and then labour on top of it.

This will be interesting.

Hi Dazzee,,, jeez, outriggers ?
If it's any consolation your car looks mean as hell mate.
Bring it home, stuff it in the garage and do it yourself while you ride the bike for the summer!!!

Japanese 'MoT' equivalent is notoriously strict on older cars. It's why so many get to sold into Europe through the grey market (especially MX-5s).

Details of 'shaken' here although it may not be 100% accurate - dazee will have experienced the real thing!

Not in my garage but that of track developments near castle combe who have done a superb job of a full geo set up and corner weighting, even taking into account my considerable bulk.
Car is now a delight to drive and I'm really looking forward to a good summer on the road. biggrin

Tried the wheels (Quinny's old ones) on for colour....pretty sure I prefer the silver. Very happy with the wheels regardless of colour biggrin

Hi mate, havn't tried full lock yet, I need to fit the hub-centric spacers and longer wheel studs at weekend. Today was just a photoshoot, no test drive. biggrin
Weathers looking good for a run out at the weekend though......

I keep toying with the dark look but the general consensus is silver and a darker colour look better.

Yesterday got planning permission to build my new garage (showroom smile )

The stacking idea has worked Ok for a few years, but I'm always worried I might put the roof through the windowscreen. So it's a 3 car "clean" garage for the TVRs and a "dirty" 2 car garage for chassis cleaning and the old beemer. Thinks idea ... I've always fancied an AJP Cerbie or a Tuscan Racer .

I must stop raiding the piggy bank...but there are NO pockets in shrouds .. so got for it smile .
