Well started to rip out relays and fuses , time to replace with this
And that is a …………?
Ah yes , right this replaces all the fuse board and relays into this package, it won't do anything for performance

You them programme the unit to be able to switch fans , pump etc via the can bus from the ecu, no more fuel pump relays, simplifies the car wiring
Looks interesting,

Waxed the T350 bonnet and fitted some mesh over the vents. Then fitted to Tamy. Also added a layer of wax to the boot lid.

Thanks Peter.

Seats are the next job on Tamy. Just need to sort ot the wiring for the heated seats. Would like to use the assigned spaces on the fusebox but need to confirm wiring and loadings.

Then its the engine swap!

Had mine on the rollers and got 275 engine hp and a very flat torque curve, maxing at 409nm at 4000 or something. A bit on the low side considering my build... This is with main cat in. I'm 90% sure Im buying the turbo kit from Eann after the MS3 is up and running! Going for 6-7 psi...

Try removing the cat.

Mine made another 20 bhp when removed.

Turbo sounds good though!

I'll remove the cat when the turbo goes in biggrin

Won't be worrying about power for a while then... to be honest, the 4.6 I built didnt feel THAT much faster than the 4 liter it relpaced... 5+ liters or FI is the way to go

Hi Ole, assuming you have the 14cux on the 4.6, what chip do you have in it? My 5.3 had a 500 chip and didn't feel that much faster than my 400 until remapped by Jools.

I got a 450 chip from joolz that I modified. I have the tools here to remap and burn new chips. At WOT the AFR was around 12.5 between 2500 to 4000 to 11.5 at 5700

No wonder really if the 4.0 to 4.6 tune was similar i.e cam CR etc then the extra 600cc is only going to give you around 25-30 hp extra IMO frown
