Nothing to see here.

I put my nose into the garage last night with a view to ripping out the old carpets but the thought of the open fire weakened my resolve..........dam that comfortable living smile

If unsure about setting up, go for a full geo set up when complete.

How did the seat fitting go A?

I had a whole weekend planned to work on the green chim, two very long dog walks along the North Downs way with some friends, running daughter about and a plethora of other stuff and I've had an hour so far redface

Gloss black trim finish is amazing.
That's some improvement!

It's amazing how many cars that look very good from the outside "shout" unloved by car polisher when you open the bonnet.

Well done!

I remember my inner ones were harder to remove but not that bad.
It seems that the inner ones collect water and rust more, better use a lot of grease there on assembly.

Once again I apologize if I have offended anyone happy tvr- ing.
No apology necessary I'm sure. It's all one big debate where we all learn the correct (and sometimes) incorrect ways of doing things.

Big, happy smilie smile

Here is the question, do the 400 non cross bolted engines have the crucifix seals that I have heard of leaking?
pretty sure they all have.

Mine 4.6 started leaking after a rebuild by someone else! The crucifix seals had shrunk and no sealer was used on the bearing cap.

We sorted this in situ at Simons garage.

A bit of a pain but easy when half the work is done already with the box out.

Did you have the shock absorbers made to suit the spring rates ? I want to up my springs reates a bit .
Yes to that.

Daz, if you are running standard 325/275 or thereabouts, thats way too soft.

a happy medium for mainly road is 400/325.
