I'll remove the cat when the turbo goes in
Won't be worrying about power for a while then... to be honest, the 4.6 I built didnt feel THAT much faster than the 4 liter it relpaced... 5+ liters or FI is the way to go
No wonder really if the 4.0 to 4.6 tune was similar i.e cam CR etc then the extra 600cc is only going to give you around 25-30 hp extra IMO Won't be worrying about power for a while then... to be honest, the 4.6 I built didnt feel THAT much faster than the 4 liter it relpaced... 5+ liters or FI is the way to go

Hmm, I'd put a carbon triple on top and see what it really can do. Oh, and don't forget the ignition side of things.
Ive ordered full MS3 kit with wiring loom, ign will be sorted then! If I pay just a little more than the triple costs I get the turbo kit, meaning easy 400 hp and 470lbft Bluebottle said:

It's frightening, the thought of your seatbelt bolted to a rusty outrigger!
not as frightening as this coupled with the std seat mounting! well, no more than a location peg through the fibre glass floor pan Edited by portzi on Wednesday 11th November 20:08

Through trying various seats in the last couple of years, I have loads of holes in the floor and have realised that the seat fixings are insecure. So I was pleased to see that, when I changed to Tuscan seats recently, the best location for the runners placed the front anchor bolts directly over the angled corner braces on the middle of the outriggers. Longer bolts, judicious drilling, and my seats are anchored to the chassis for the first time ever.
