I'll remove the cat when the turbo goes in biggrin

Won't be worrying about power for a while then... to be honest, the 4.6 I built didnt feel THAT much faster than the 4 liter it relpaced... 5+ liters or FI is the way to go
No wonder really if the 4.0 to 4.6 tune was similar i.e cam CR etc then the extra 600cc is only going to give you around 25-30 hp extra IMO frown
It has 4.0 pistons with valve reliefs, stealth cam, stage3 ported heads with medium size valves, 45mm ported intake, big afm from joolz, yella terra roller rockers and 6.8kg flywheel. Iridium plugs and new leads. Plenum is standard 65mm.

If you can fit a 72mm plenum, then I'm sure you will hit 300Bhp

Got my Chimaera chassis back today from the blasters so I can do repairs and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not too bad smile
Not too bad at all and not a lot of welding needed smile

It's frightening, the thought of your seatbelt bolted to a rusty outrigger!

Ive ordered full MS3 kit with wiring loom, ign will be sorted then! If I pay just a little more than the triple costs I get the turbo kit, meaning easy 400 hp and 470lbft xmas

I have a feeling that the stage 3 heads restrict the airflow, and only FI can get around this. So good call, Ole

Yes very scary that TVR even thought it was safe to bolt the seats straight through flimsy fibre glass with just penny washers for added strength, there is a nice mod you can do to weld steel strutts underneath the seat so the seat bolts to the chassis strutts and not just the fibre glass!!!!

Through trying various seats in the last couple of years, I have loads of holes in the floor and have realised that the seat fixings are insecure. So I was pleased to see that, when I changed to Tuscan seats recently, the best location for the runners placed the front anchor bolts directly over the angled corner braces on the middle of the outriggers. Longer bolts, judicious drilling, and my seats are anchored to the chassis for the first time ever.

The Willow Sports Cars modified chassis/outriggers includes the struts Portzi describes.
