I did mine with sticky back aluminium laggers tape. All done for less than a tenner and very capable of resisting under bonnet temperatures

Totally agree with your comments on this product. since I have been using it in race temperatures, it has never let me down in 6 years. I use it a lot to keep my wheel weights stuck in position and the rims after 40 minutes are so hot you would burn you fingers also to stick heat shield in place next to the manifolds which are mighty hot even after a short 20 minute sprint race. One thing though you are paying too much, try a trip to your local builders merchant See here

Got pissed off with misfires.
Removed the 5 remaining working plug extenders, fitted the nice new set of fibre glass heat proof socks.
Did it work?Removed the 5 remaining working plug extenders, fitted the nice new set of fibre glass heat proof socks.
Yet to do a proper test, both of misfires or not, and the heat protective qualities of the Hong Kong heat proof socks I bought off Banggood.com (yes, it's a real website, not wishful thinking on a winter's afternoon!).
