Some new bits and messing about with my new LED headlamps
What are you planning to cover them with. Those lamps create their own light pattern so I don't think that you can put the original lenses on as they will redirect the light pattern again. I'm not sure what that'll do but it may screw with the light directionbobfather said:

Changed the poor and crusty lighting behind the numberplate to a LED strip. Works really well.
Played around with the petrol tank sender unit in the boot, as it was not working correctly. Which means it was indicating full all the time until it was empty!! Then only the reserve light (early model-'93) came on!
I hope that I have it working. fingers crossed.

Partially sleeved, now that's an idea, fully sleeved to loud, mmm, I've got a local tyre fitters near me, they do pipe fitting etc, I'd checked out having 3 in put on mine, very interested in the picks NTEL
I'd like mine quietening down!Although I have a standard system it is noticeably noisier than a 4.0L or even a 5.0L.
It is fine for day-to-day use but long journeys are a bit of a pain in the ear .

Cut a hole in the top of the silencerTake out the lagging
Cut a length of 54mm od stainless tube length ways, place around perf and tack up
Fully weld the sleeves
Put the lagging back in and weld the lid back on
^^^^ nice, I've got Rich's old pipe to play with if I want to, it's already fully sleeved so loud but I've still got a Cat, if it's to loud I'd already thought about opening it up again and half sleeving it,,,
My standard set up with pre cats removed, main cat fitted and fully silenced exhaust is spot on for easy driving, good torque and still roars on induction,, deep note but resonance and boom kept to a minimum,, it's just right but for the warm summer months it might be nice to have a bit more noise. It's time I got a Clive Y and released some more ponies !
