not yesterday but last week.
All the holes drilled for galvanising and seat mounts and extra gussets welded in.
That's one seriously nice looking chassis, the hole sizes seem spot on, can't see any issues with this beauty,
Please keep us updated, that's the way to go for sure.

Some layman questions I'm afraid,,,,
So will this be sort of galved inside and out,
That's it really, I know there's concerns re heat distortion but I'm hoping that's more than strong enough to cope, love the gussets,, awesome thumbup

Who's doing the galvanising - South East Galvanisers in Witham?

ETA - Oh and did you consider adding cross members to bolt the seats to?

ETA - Found the other thread where you show the seat mount.

The galvanising is being done by Acrow in saffron walden who work closely with conqueror powder coating, they will be giving it a nice coat of gunmetal grey.
The holes are 10 MM. Place to allow the zinc to flow smoothly through out the chassis and also allow them to dip it in the bath quickly to lessen any risk of distortion.
I was advised that the process has its risks but usually the only distortion comes when a chassis has been damaged and badly repaired as the heat acts as a stress relief.

Got around to fitting an oil thermostat after the install of remote filter and two oil coolers, seemed to fit quite well. Before anyone spots it, I inverted the thermostat for ease of plumbing.

Also used a genuine Land Rover oil filter this time and no drain back plus pressures back up.

Means I keep a full size filter instead of having to use a small one at take off plate, also a doddle to change.
Quite an easy route to and from the coolers too.

After two days in my house recently, struggling and cursing idiot boiler designers, I would have thought that easy access would be top of your list, Daz......and not just for bike parking whistle

A friend and fellow PH'ers car failed MOT 2 weeks ago on outriggers.

his only consolation was that he was expecting them to fail 2 years ago.

I have just got my pump up ramps back but there nothing like as good as being able to work at a comfortable height that a 2 post lift would facilitate. Better then juts a jack and axle stands though :-)
