it was a case of 120 grit / 320 / 600 then 1200 wet and dry before a final polish up with a polishing wheel in the drill.
A before / during and after.....
Dragged this lump out to make way for new clutch and rear main seal etc - was a tad tired after 134k miles so is now with Mr Reid at Grantura for a fettle. Can I just say a huge thanks to the monkey that decided it would be a good idea to put the top rear gear link pivot bolt in from the handbrake side - only took me an hour to cut the swine out. Cheers!
