I assembled this in the garaged last night.

Designed in England and made in China for Automotech. £180 + VAT!

A must if you are going to replace your bushes.

Did my bushes with a manly vice and hammer. Seemed to go alight. I did think about a press, but dont think the suspension arms would fit in there.

I did all my bushes in a large vice about 18 months ago, worked OK but the vice suffered a little!

Hi Nigel, A mate of mine new the company that used to make the motorshow signs for TVR back in the day [2000 when I had my first Griff] and they cut this one the wrong way round having the polished side on reverse and it was to go in the skip so I had it. It's made from alloy.
PS; I have disco lights AND smoke machine hehe

Finally fixed my annoyingly poor fitting Surrey Roof. Roger Morris was dismissive and unhelpful saying that it must be my car that was a wrong fit, not true. The rear hard section tended to twist upwards when even slight tension was applied causing the bottom edge gaps to open and a twist to form in the side flaps. I replaced the rear rose joints with M8 swing eye bolts (and a wafer of StSt shim to prevent the swing eyes rubbing on the threaded posts). Rotation now only occurs in the required axis. Roof fits and folds perfectly, success.

Started my DIY dash refurb. Doing the easy bit first , the radio panel.

Also removed the wiper mechanism to be sent off for a refurb.

I broke the plastic cap which covers the spindle nut which was annoying. Anyone know of a suitable replacment?

For me it is more of an irritation and doesn't cuase issue with the performance of the roof. I still think they are the best none performance mod you can do / add to a TVR.
