Fixed both air vents which direct air on to your feet as they had fallen apart. She was complaining of a cold draft. Nice easy fix for a change.
Finally got around to modifying the boot release button so now no need to switch the ignition on every time. Live feed from the ignition switch sorted it. Happy days.

Just be aware that anyone can open the boot without the ignition on when the car is parked IF they knew what they were doing!

Yes, they can either (a) cut through the hood and remove the targa panel or (b) with the car locked, roof down and windows up they will need very, very long arms. I've tried and cannot get near the button. But it does away with all the hassle of unlocking the car and putting the key in the ignition every time she wants something else from the boot....rolleyes

This looks like a big step forward, very interesting indeed.

Does it work as a stand alone option for us all, or only in conjunction with a MoTeC ECU?

It can work stand alone but will require an input to condition a output , like the fans it will need to know when to operate, you can then program to come on a certain points and stay on for a preset time after the ignition is turned off , or the ecu can transmit over the can bus information from the ecu,

The motec supports canbus protocol so hard wired inputs are not needed from the ecu, not sure if canems ecu supports can bus, the motec is more motorsport ecu

Here is another version made by another company for your reading , however this is standalone and offers no ecu integration

Not in a garage but out in the boonies - established pretty conclusively with some logging and map tweaking that I am now officially out of fuel flow headroom

It's fine Simon; just surprised it's taken as long as it has to get to the limits of the OEM pump and plumbing. Was expecting to have to sort this well before now! smile
