Nice, how many sensors does it use? I use 2, one of each side of the inlet manifold. My block doesn't have the bosses on the sides.

So, after a lot of earache from the passenger side, decided on some little mods to keep her 'appy like.
First removed my seat and inserted some foam rubber between the existing foam and the seat cover. This has firmed up the seat cushion and raised me up a little bit too. Found 91p in the seat.

Now to the passenger side and of course, the one seized nut i.e. one of the seat retaining nuts. Angle grinder sorted that and after a good clean found 32p on her side. Took the opportunity to properly vacuum the carpets and give the seats a nice clean. Used some penny washers as spacers and raised the seat about 3/4 of an inch so she can see out without peering between the wiper blades. Also did the seat base with foam rubber so both seats nice and firm. Couldn't re-use the copper wire clips to hold the leather afterwards so reattached using locking wire. wink

Refitted the repaired speedo and used velcro to hold the dash down which is a nice easy mod. Slowly getting through all these little jobs I've been putting off.

I have used two of the Bosch motorsport knock sensors, dead cheap which I was surprised at, either side of the block is a drilled hole for the stud, the sensors fit over that, so one per side

Finally finished the garage doors, cleared all the woodwork tools out had a good tidy up and dragged the chassis in ready for the rebuild.

Looking very smart Richard.

When are you going to start rebuilding your car?

Next week, all week I'm not stopping even for cups of tea, let's see if I can't get it back together before the end of the year

You're probably ahead of me then. I haven't even started rebuilding the chassis yet. Or the engine. Parts everywhere, but on the car.

160 days hard labour with no tea.....?yikes
I had no idea it would take about 2000 hours to rebuild a Chimaera (assuming 12 hour days)
