Magnificent, inspirational, subtle colours, I like the rack colour, it's got it all going on.
Clean environment is a clue wink

Half the fun of these cars is slowly getting used to seeing these pictures and understanding what's going on, I can picture mine with a gleaming chassis etc,, thumbup

Yep, strange results, possibly. 372 bhp 440 torques on Joolzs conservative rollers.

The lca was stretched to 110 degrees when ground for better road manners.

It does behave pretty well on the road with absolute minimal shunting if you could call it that.

Silly iPad chops off the top of the graph.

Hahah, Matt, I nearly choked hehe

440, that's some number, you know when ours hits the wind over about 115-120 mph,,, his doesn't hehe

So is this in line with what you were hoping for Peter.
It's damn powerful that's a fact. It's quite amazing I think.
Throttle bodies for the air for more Hp I reckon but why bother when you've got such torque, yippee,,

Arrrrhhh, are you trying to get more bhp and lesson the torque? Better spread, your some boy you, hehe

Acceleration from 100 is really strong, 150 comes up so quickly.

Not what I was hoping for, aiming for less torque and more power at a higher RPM.

The theory is to retard the cam by about 4 degrees,.......maybe in winter.

Out for a blast Sunday afternoon in the sun on some quiet north Yorkshire roads. Power seemed to be getting less and less then a screech at turbo revs (3,000 up). Came to a junction and revs at 1,800 so a clue where to start.
Vacuum pipe from the plenum to the dump valve had split at the plenum end.

'Have you got your nail clippers with you dear?'
'No'
'Nail scissors then?'
'No'
'I haven't any tools with me'
'So we're going home on the AA truck again'

I only had a small crosshead screwdriver. Used that to break off the remaining part of the split pipe back to solid rubber. Tried to push it on to the vacuum outlet but struggling.

'Have you fixed it yet?'
'Not yet, its bloody hot in here'
'What are you going to do then?'
'I need some lubrication dear' - this attracted a very serious and disapproving look

Pulled the dipstick out and dribbled some oil on to the end of the pipe and the outlet. Pushed it on very easily. Started the car and back to full power smokin
Closed the bonnet and got back in the car.

'You should be a boy scout dear'

......and so we drove on.

Fixed someone else's mis-firing Chimaera.
Took one look at the nice new, shiny plug extenders on the car and spent the next few minutes working out how many of them were faulty.
Replaced two with a couple of old ones I had with me.
Left the car running fine, which it needs to be as he is off to some track in the Eiffel Mountains this week.driving
