Derek
Do you have a make/source for your wing covers.
Meant to ask at Shakey but forgot.
They are much longer than any I am finding on searches + most I find are magnetic which is no help.

Thanks
Steve

Thanks guys. I thought the 'Moon eye' version was much longer but is only 3" longer than the Sealy.
At that price difference I'll go get a couple of the Screwfix ones.

Cheers
Steve

This one is going to a new home in a Taimar.
Yes think it's time for an LS and a turbo or 2

Never been tempted by the LS route. Nothing wrong with the RV8 if treated respectfully smile

I probably won't do drag racing again with the car as it stands. After breaking a stub axle I will be breaking more parts with the car as it is. By comparison, track days and sprints put less strain on the components.

Plans are, run the car for the next year, rebuild new engine with lower CR and fit a low boost turbo or SC.

I'm not looking for miricles but 500 horses would be desirable.

Derek is in to something else. Dragracing is his bag and he is good at it. I am just a drag racing interloper.
He is gone as far as he can with the RV8 and an LS engine is a logical step forwards.

Finally got round to finishing the exhaust wrap on the manifolds and cleaned all the muck off the underbonnet heat shield.

Think that's it for now until someone comes up with another 'upgrade' to spend my money....

Revived and recoloured my wife's mini roof with a well proven Renovo product. It went from a very faded brown to a nice deep colour.

So impressed that I'm ordering a dark blue for my chim.

Funnily enough, I have been using their blue Colour Reviver on my Chimaera's roof.

After a good cleaning on Sunday, then with three days to completely dry out followed by coat of it yesterday and another today. Can't believe the difference it has made. I was concerned that the Reviver might darken the blue hood but it hasn't at all - justmade it look like brand new! A great product.

Just a couple of pics of a little modification to protect the new paintwork when stowing the roof panel. It is some non slip matting tucked into the boot seal.

Taking a breather from the fumes at the mo.. How the fk do people remove the bracket with the filter still in there? There's barely room for a finger, no chance of wiggling a tool about in there (ooh er missus)
